James Norwood

James Norwood is a lecturer on both the MMD (Multimedia Design) and BA E-Concepts educations at EAL (Erhvervs Akademiet Lillebælt) Odense, Denmark. Subjects covered include business, design and interaction.

He has recently become focused on more welfare tech projects, joining the Healthgames initiative (an EU funded project looking at establishing the region of Southern Denmark and Northern Germany as a center for games and medical research). In addition to this he is currently involved with the development of the InnoEvent festival format, helping students to innovate, collaborate and develop business opportunities in welfare tech.
James was a former founder and director of London based specialmoves, an award winning interactive digital production company. His greatest hits include the multi award-winning Osbourne online experience for MTV and Church of Fools (the worlds first online 3D church). With over 16 years in digital media he has had the opportunity to be involved in some ground-breaking work over a multitude of digital disciplines. Working on a myriad of brands and projects ranging from unique interactive digital content, advertising led microsites and banners, edutainment titles to developing 3D games.
Previous to this he has lectured at the University of Plymouth as well as pursuing research in the field of Telematics Theatre as part of his own PhD research with CAiiA-STAR.
